Song and Story Hour Trains return to the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad

New Hope, PA, March 31, 2008 - Join us for an experience the kids will remember for a lifetime. Starting in June and running through September, children and parents can ride aboard the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad while they enjoy their favorite children’s stories and sing-along songs performed by local musicians.

Story Time on the New Hope Ivy Land Railroad

Train schedule for the Song and Story Hour trains is as follows: Every Tuesday and Thursday from June 10 th to September 28 th at 11:00am, 12:00pm and 1:00pm.

Passengers will travel the same historic route that was filmed in the movie, “Perils of Pauline” in 1914. Nothing compares to the sights and sounds of the big locomotive as it pulls from the restored 1891 Victorian New Hope Railroad Station. The ticket booth is located within an authentic “witches hat” style building which once was the location of the railroad telegraph operator who sent all messages for the New Hope area.

Parking is available at the New Hope station, affording easy access to the many shops and attractions in New Hope.

 

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available on board in the Bar Car.
