My husband and I went on the Valentine’s Excursion yesterday. I cannot say enough good things about this! The train car was beautiful, the servers were excellent, the food was fantastic! My husband and I took our special needs granddaughter on the New Hope Railroad train this weekend. It was a nice ride to Lahaska and back. What a surprise that on the return they sold soft pretzels, my granddaughter’s favorite snack. She loved every minute of it:short enough; fast enough to keep her occupied. We would definitely do this again, maybe ourselves for the wine tasting

Such a fun afternoon. Great for something different, cheese and fruit platter was fantastic. Very generous. Our server was super accommodating with the wines, offering alternatives and very generous with her pour. Honestly very good value all round.

My fiancée and I took a trip on their “speakeasy train” and it was a great 90 minute trip. I would call it a perfect date night venture. Start the night on the new hope ivyland speakeasy train where you’ll enjoy a very diverse drink selection that is brought out to you throughout the ride (included with tickets) along with some great “finger foods/apps” I do recommend that you get a ride for this venture or Uber. The drinks will catch up. When the ride is done finish the night with a meal and more drinks if you desire at the surrounding bars/restaurants of new hope. Overall great experience.

My parents and I had a wonderful time on our train ride. We had tickets for the First Class car on the train and it was absolutely beautiful. There were two staff members in our car. One took care of the refreshments(drinks including wine and beer, snacks such as soft pretzels, candy and chips). The other staff member shared information concerning the history of the area, scenery, and the train cars themselves. The cars are originals from the early 1900s and the NEW HOPE station has many of the original Reading Railroad cars. I personally enjoyed the soothing jiggle of the train car as we went along and the historic ambience of the interior. My parents really enjoyed our trip also. Thanks!

The staff were so very helpful, courteous and kind. From basically escorting us to where we needed to be, to helping us retrieve our tickets. The station was clean and inviting. The BEST part was.............the train ride and all that it included....like -0 cheese, meats....WINE!!!!! 🙂

A fun time reliving a period in history around Prohibition. The atmosphere of the train as well as the drinks, live music and 20’s outfits of the staff really took us back in time! The appetizers that were served were delicious. Staff was friendly. A great experience!

We had grandchildren visiting from Chicago. This was a perfect opportunity to get together with them, as well as extended family, other grandchildren and grandparents, and fill the caboose. The staff was wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer group of people to host us during our tree ride. Santa and Mrs. clause were great. I have recommended it to many other people.

Took our daughter on the North Pole Express Premium train last night and it was the best time ever! We enjoyed the hot chocolate and warm cookies from Mrs. Claus and a visit from Santa! Let’s just say we have found and started a new Christmas tradition!

This was the first time we took the Santa Train Ride. My grandson is almost three and he was just amazed at Everything!! The warm Hot Cocoa and cookie, the Caroling with the Banjo Player and the visit from Santa and Mrs Clause was just the perfect way to start the Christmas Season !! Everyone was super friendly and the Trains were Beautiful and clean. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip for anyone especially if you have children.

My wife and I took our granddaughter on the train yesterday. This is a tradition we do with our grandchildren when they turn 4: our 3rd experience. From the conductor, to the photographer, banjo playing singer and especially Santa with Mrs. Claus- the entire experience was spectacular. We absolutely LOVE the New Hope Railroad’s North Pole Express! This has become a family tradition for us each year! My daughter was smiling ear to ear after she met Santa and Mrs Claus along with all the music and Christmas cheer. This year we upgraded our fare to the dinning car which had so much history to it and our dinning staff Dan and Tracy were second to none in terms of friendliness and service! Very nice, slow train ride in a beautiful car with nice music playing and drinks served in the 1st class car. A scenic half hour trip out and then a half hour back. Someone comes on to tell you about the history of the train line. Friendly staff and good drinks. Very fun time!

A scenic ride on the regular excursion from New Hope to Lahaska. First Class car ticket is reasonable and a full service bar with waiter service provides patrons with some reasonably priced boozy offerings to enjoy the ride. The knowledgeable Trainman provides a running narrative of the railroad's history as well as all adjoining scenic and historic sites.

Absolutely stunning. Like taking a trip back in time to a simpler place. A place of community and adventure. The whole area is simply amazing. From the quaint little shops to the specialty stores and eateries. Be sure to take the time to stop by the station and even board the train to experience life in a different era.

A step back in time. Even the engineers and servers on the New Hope Railroad seem as if they were minted in another era. As you wait on the platform make sure you have some freahly roasted nuts (Honey roasted almonds are my favorite) from the little snack shop in the old station building. The train is immaculately maintained and is worth taking a ride on to experience a slower more genteel time.

Great trail ride! I recommend the hour long one if you have children. We did the enclosed train ride on a rainy day and still had a great time. The staff were very knowledgeable. It has the cutest train station set up I’ve ever seen! The train near Lancaster wasnt as good as this one. This one has more to look at! Will come back for sure.

We rode in the first class suite on a Saturday afternoon. Dan was our porter and he was amazing! Funny, courteous and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoyed their ride. We enjoyed learning about the history of the railroad and the area.
