E-TICKETS HELP

What are e-Tickets?

When you purchase or book seating for train excursions or events, you’re buying an e-Ticket (Electronically Issued Ticket) that is stored in a computer database reservation system. After you’ve selected your excursion or event online, you’ll be prompted to pay with a credit card. The screen will then present you with your payment confirmation and order number and then send you, via e-mail, your invoice receipt and your printable e-Ticket(s) as an attached PDF document. Customers must print their e-Ticket(s) and show them before boarding trains or attending events.

e-Tickets simplify the booking process and enhance your experience with the New Hope Railroad — no waiting in ticket lines at the train station and no mailing costs!

Do I need to purchase e-Tickets in advance?

Advance online reservations are suggested, however, onsite e-ticket sales are available at our New Hope train station platform self-service Kiosks.

How do I use e-tickets?

Step 1
Begin by purchasing (booking) e-tickets online at newhoperailroad.com
Select the type and quantity of e-tickets desired, then complete all billing information to complete your purchase.

Step 2
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with your invoice receipt and your printable e-Ticket(s) as an attached PDF document. If you miss the email, please check your SPAM folder. You must then print your e-tickets. We currently do not offer on-site sales or e-ticket printing.

Step 3
Print your e-tickets in color or black & white on a standard 8.5×11-inch plain white paper. 

Step 4
Bring your e-tickets to the railroad. All e-tickets to ride all excursions or enter any event are verified by scanning the barcode on each e-ticket. All e-tickets are individually barcoded allowing one scan per entry, so any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell any copies of the e-Ticket may result in admittance being refused to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen e-tickets.

Why haven’t I received my e-Tickets via e-mail?

  • Make sure you have used the correct e-mail address.
  • Check your SPAM/JUNK e-mail folder.
  • Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive e-mails with attachments.
  • Be sure to add our email addresses from *@newhoperailroad.com to your list of trusted e-mail addresses.
  • Please allow at least one hour for your e-mails to arrive.

What if my tickets did not print correctly?

  • Open the PDF attachment that came with your e-mail.
  • Save the attachment to your computer.
  • Print your e-tickets again.

Are e-tickets refundable?

The New Hope Railroad has a no refund policy for all bookings using e-Tickets. There are no exceptions.

e-Tickets issued for all bookings will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
