How do you get in? If the bouncers at the Undead Speakeasy don’t recognize your face, you better present your membership card quick. Once inside, this undead gang is serving up the deadliest embalming cocktails in town.
Be warned, these flappers and gangsters are not fond of outsiders and any suspected
g-men won’t make it out alive. If you make it through the club and find the secret back exit of the speakeasy, you’ll board the Bootlegger Express. This rum running gang needs to move a large shipment on the next train to Philadelphia. Word is that a rival gang is planning a heist en route and these rum runners won’t hesitate using passengers as a shield, will you survive the ensuing massacre?

    The Haunted Halloween train operates on select dates from October 11th through Halloween (October 31st), with trains departing on those days at select times. The excursion is approximately 40 minutes in duration.

Coach Class features vintage passenger equipment built between 1913 and 1935 and are heated for the scary trip to the unknown! Seats are comfortable padded, high-back, bench-style type which create a great setting for large groups. We offer beverages and light snacks for purchase.
NOTE: This excursion is recommended for ages 13 and older.

  • e-Ticket sales close 10 minutes prior to departure for this excursion.
  • Advance reservations are recommended, but not required.
  • If you have a reservation, your e-Ticket will be scanned as you board the train. You may also purchase e-tickets at the gift shop up to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If you forget your e-Ticket, we can print them for you, subject to verification.
  • e-Tickets are attached to your e-mail receipt and sent after purchase is complete.
  • e-Tickets must be presented to a train crew member prior to boarding the train.
  • e-Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.

This includes but is not limited to: injury, bodily harm, property damage, loss, medical condition onset, and or death. By entering this event, you take full responsibility and waive all rights against taking action against the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad and/or their assigns.

The Haunted Halloween Event (the “Event”) is a high-startle, high-intensity event featuring strobe lights, fog machines, loud noises, extreme low visibility, electrical effects, wet or damp conditions and physically demanding environments that can affect pacemakers, other implanted medical devices, and those prone to seizures. Visitors should consult their physician before attending the event if you are pregnant; have claustrophobia, prone to seizures, heart or respiratory problems, or any other medical condition or mental disease that may be triggered and or worsened by stressful conditions. Do not enter the event if you are intoxicated, under the influence of illegal drugs or heavy medications. There is absolutely no touching of the actors, the mechanisms or props during the event. Smoking is prohibited on board the train and at all stations. Please do not run inside or around the event, and please be courteous to other visitors. No photography or videography is permitted during the event without prior permission. Please be understanding that your flash and video lights ruin the special effects for everyone in your group, as well as cause event traffic and slow throughput.

The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone for this event!

You agree that the HAUNTED HALLOWEEN event (the “Event”) for which you purchased e-tickets and/or attended is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the Event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the Event. You hereby irrevocably grant permission to the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad and/or their assigns to use, copy, display, distribute, exhibit and utilize your name, image, digital image, likeness, acts, poses, voice, appearance, movements and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction of same, including at the Event (regardless of whether before, during or after the Event) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed without further authorization from or any compensation to you or anyone acting or entitled to act on your behalf.

e-Ticket fares are subject to a 9% Processing Fee. Schedules are adhered to as closely as possible, but the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad reserves the right, without liability and notice, to cancel and/or otherwise modify the schedule, fares, times, dates, routing, motive power, equipment and/or seat selection on any excursion, train and/or event whenever, in its judgement, circumstances warrant. The railroad is not responsible for lack of sufficient capacity or adverse weather conditions that prevent operations. There are a limited number of tickets available for each day during this event.  If you have not pre-purchased tickets, please call 215-862-2332 before coming, as tickets may not be available. e-Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
