We allow you to bring a cake from an outside vendor, as long as it is from a licensed facility. No cakes baked at home are permitted. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premise. New Hope Railroad has a liquor license and will be happy to discuss your options.

If you or a guest arrives late for a party, it will continue as scheduled. We will hold the train for five minutes past the scheduled departure time. If the waiting times exceeds five minutes, the train will depart. If a guest arrives late, they will have the opportunity to ride on the second departure.

Yes, you can bring your own decorations for your party. Depending on the time slot that was selected for your event, you may have the opportunity to decorate one hour prior to the party start time. We do not permit anything to be hung on the walls or from the ceilings. Please discuss options with the event coordinator. The following items are not permitted: glitter, confetti, sparklers, sparkler candles, live animals, tinsel, and silly string.

Cancellation Policy

If a notice of cancellation is received thirty (30) or more days prior to the event date, you will receive a 100% CREDIT of the total.

If a notice of cancellation is received less than thirty (30) days prior to the event date, you will receive a 50% CREDIT of the total.

If a notice of cancellation is received seven (7) days or less prior to the event date, NO CREDIT will be provided.

No, gratuity is not included in the package fee. Gratuity is solely at your discretion and always appreciated by your car host.

The party host should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. If prior engagements were organized with the event coordinator to decorate before the party, then please arrive at discussed time. We urge you to inform your guests to please arrive no later than 20-30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time/event start time. This allows time for guests to park and use the restrooms before boarding. New Hope Railroad will only allow for a five minute late departure time, due to a set operating schedule, and to maintain as punctual as possible for all occurring events throughout the day.

Your host will greet the party family. Sets up decorations prior to guests’ arrival. Will assist in serving food and beverages, as well as any organized activities. Interacts with the children and families. Coordinates the cake and singing. Delivers goodie bags. Oversees the safety of all passengers, and cleans up after the party.
