TICKET HELP

When you purchase or book seating for train excursions or events, you’re buying a Ticket that is electronically issued, and that ticket is stored in a computer database reservation system. After you’ve selected your excursion or event online, you’ll be prompted to pay with a credit card. The screen will then present you with your payment confirmation and order number and send you, via e-mail and SMS text messaging, your receipt and printable ticket(s) as an attached document and an online link for your convenience.

Tickets must be printed or displayed on a mobile device and presented to a train crew member for electronic scanning before boarding the train.

These types of tickets simplify the booking process and enhance your experience with the New Hope Railroad — no waiting in ticket lines at the train station and no mailing costs!

Do I need to purchase Tickets in advance?

Advance online reservations are suggested, however, onsite ticket sales are available at our New Hope train station platform self-service Kiosks. Subject to availability, which is not guaranteed.

How do I use these Tickets?

Step 1
Begin by purchasing (booking) tickets online at newhoperailroad.com
Select the type and quantity of tickets desired, then complete all billing information to complete your purchase.

Step 2
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with your invoice and printable ticket(s) as a document and an SMS text message with an online link for your convenience. If you miss the email, please check your SPAM folder.

Step 3
Print your tickets in color or black & white on a standard 8.5×11-inch plain white paper. 

Step 4
Bring your tickets to the railroad. All tickets to ride all excursions or enter any event are verified by scanning the barcode on each ticket. All tickets are individually barcoded, allowing one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell copies of the Ticket may result in admittance being refused to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.

Why haven’t I received my Tickets via e-mail?

  • Make sure you have used the correct e-mail address.
  • Check your SPAM/JUNK e-mail folder.
  • Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive e-mails with attachments.
  • Be sure to add our email addresses from *@newhoperailroad.com to your list of trusted e-mail addresses.
  • Please allow at least one hour for your e-mails to arrive.

What if my Tickets did not print correctly?

  • Open the attachment that came with your e-mail.
  • Save the attachment to your computer.
  • Print your tickets again.

Are Tickets refundable?

The New Hope Railroad has a no refund policy for all reservations. There are no exceptions.

Tickets issued for all reservations will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
