RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU CAREFULLY REVIEW THE SUBSEQUENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATION WITH THE NEW HOPE RAILROAD:

By completing your reservation, you confirm your acceptance of and agreement to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with completing your reservation.

NO REFUND POLICY

  • The New Hope Railroad adheres to a strict no-refund policy for all reservations and cannot make any exceptions.

Reservations and Ticketing

  • Advanced online reservations are suggested; however, onsite ticket sales are available at our New Hope train station self-service ticket kiosks, subject to availability.
  • All reservations completed through our Customer Care Support representatives (Call Center) are subject to a $25 manual reservation fee.
  • Payment in full with a major credit card is required to finalize a reservation.
  • Tickets will be sent via email and text message. By agreeing to these terms, you consent to receive promotional emails and texts from us. Standard messaging rates may apply, and you can unsubscribe by replying with ‘STOP.’
  • Present your ticket, printed or on a mobile device, to board the train.
  • Tickets cannot be refunded, transferred, or replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Times and dates of excursions/events may change without prior notice. All excursions, trains, and events depend on availability, and tickets are available in limited quantities.
  • Errors may occur on our website or in third-party systems. We are not responsible for these errors and reserve the right to correct or cancel reservations even after confirmation. Additionally, our website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or other factors.

Fares and Fees

  • The New Hope Railroad uses a dynamic pricing model, where ticket prices for events and excursions vary depending on aspects like demand, service class, and the exact date and time of the journey. The price quoted at the time of booking represents the lowest fare available.
  • Altering your reservation may result in a fare change, and additional fees may apply for reissuing tickets.
  • If tickets are sold at an incorrect fare due to a display error, we reserve the right to cancel these tickets. We may offer a credit for future use or reissue the tickets at the correct fare.
  • Fares are subject to change without notice.
  • All reservations are subject to a Processing Fee.
  • Boarding by fare class may occur.

Flex Ticket Assurance

Flex Ticket Assurance can be added during purchase for $5 per ticket (for adults, children, and infants).

With Flex Ticket Assurance:

  • Change your reservation date/time once for free.
  • Additional changes cost $15 per ticket.
  • Cancel and get a credit voucher before your trip.

Without Flex Ticket Assurance:

  • Changing reservations cost $25 per ticket.
  • No cancellations are allowed.
  • No credit vouchers are available.

Terms and Conditions for Flex Ticket Assurance:

  • Modifications to dates/times must be completed at least 24 hours before departure, and availability cannot be assured.
  • When you reschedule, fares can vary, and you will be responsible for covering any additional costs incurred.
  • Credit vouchers don’t include the Flex Ticket Assurance fee.
  • There are no refunds for not using Flex Ticket Assurance.

 Other Information

  • If you have recently had surgery, have physical limitations, or require special assistance, please let us know before making your reservation to ensure we can accommodate your needs.
  • The New Hope Railroad assumes no liability for lost or stolen items.
  • The New Hope Railroad is not responsible for insufficient capacity or adverse weather conditions preventing operations.
  • You agree that the Excursion/Event (the “Event”) for which you purchased tickets and/or attended is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the Event occurs are public, and that you do not expect privacy concerning your actions or conduct at the event. You, as a result of this, irrevocably grant permission to the New Hope Railroad and/or their assigns to use, copy, display, distribute, exhibit, and utilize your name, image, digital image, likeness, acts, poses, voice, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transmissions, exhibition, publication or reproduction of same, including at the Event (regardless of whether before, during or after the event) for any purpose, in any manner, any medium or context, is now known or hereafter developed without further authorization from or any compensation to you or anyone acting or entitled to act on your behalf.
  • Website images are illustrative and may not represent actual services. The New Hope Railroad reserves the right to change images and specifications without liability and notice.
  • Excursions/events go on rain or shine; cancellations due to severe conditions will be communicated.
  • Convenient onsite parking is available at the New Hope Train Station for an additional fee. Guests are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled departure time. Local traffic and parking can delay your arrival time. 
  • Smoking is prohibited onboard the train and at all stations.
  • Schedules are adhered to as closely as possible. However, the New Hope Railroad reserves the right, without liability and notice, to cancel and/or otherwise modify the schedule, fares, times, dates, routing, motive power, equipment, and/or seat selection on any excursion, train and/or event whenever, in its judgment, circumstances warrant.
