RAIL BIKE EXPERIENCE INFORMATION:

GUEST REQUIREMENTS

  • Age and Participation
    Minimum age is 3 years old. Children are welcome to ride; however, some younger guests may not be able to reach the pedals.
    At least one rider on each rail bike must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Height Guidelines
    Minimum recommended height is approximately 3 feet 6 inches.
    Guests taller than 6 feet 4 inches should contact NHRR prior to booking to confirm proper fit.
  • Weight Limit
    Maximum weight per seat is 300 lbs.
  • Footwear
    Closed-toe shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, and open-toe footwear are not permitted.
  • Arrival Time
    Please plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to allow for check-in, waiver verification, and a mandatory safety briefing.
  • Health and Physical Condition
    Guests should be in suitable health to participate. This is an outdoor rail bike experience lasting approximately 90 to 120 minutes and involves active pedaling.
    Electric pedal assist reduces physical effort, but participants should be able to perform moderate activity.
    Guests with heart conditions, back, neck, or joint issues, or other medical concerns should consult a physician prior to booking.
  • Pregnancy
    Participation is not recommended for pregnant guests. Please consult your physician prior to booking.
  • Pets and Service Animals
    Pets are not permitted. Certified service animals are welcome. Please notify NHRR at the time of booking if you will be accompanied by a service animal.

    Parking: Paid on-site parking available, with additional public parking in downtown New Hope
    Restrooms: Permanent facilities available on-site
    Nearby Attractions: Downtown New Hope offers restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and waterfront views all within walking distance
    Route Notes: This route crosses four bridges within the first mile, including Pauline’s Trestle. Guests with concerns about heights are encouraged to consider the Lahaska departure.
  • Lahaska Station (Friday through Sunday)
    Address: 1917 Street Road, New Hope, PA 18938
    Parking: Complimentary on-site parking available
    Restrooms: Portable restroom facilities available on-site
    Nearby Attractions: Peddler’s Village, a 42-acre shopping and dining destination, is located approximately one mile from the station
    Route Notes: This route does not include any bridges and is recommended for guests with height concerns.
  • Weather Policy
    All rail bike experiences operate rain or shine. Operations will only be suspended in the event of severe weather, including lightning, high winds, or other hazardous conditions.
